Description: This Oats and Honey Conditioner Bar by CW Apothecary has a wonderful fresh aroma of Hawthorne, with nuances of creamy French vanilla, soy milk and a base note of nutty almond. You will enjoy the silky compact suds from the flax seed extract, and many oils and butters to nourish your hair, great moisture, shine and slip, stimulate your scalp, add volume, all while conditioning. All of the moisture, shine and slip you have ever wanted, all in a conditioner bar that is great for your hair and scalp. These bars are very concentrated with nourishing ingredients to penetrate deep into your hair and scalp leaving your hair silky smooth.You will love it.

Aloe Gel - A gentle moisturizer made from organic aloe leaf juice that can be used on skin of all types, including sensitive skin and hair.
D,L-Panthenol, aka Pro-Vitamin B5, is a stable racemic mixture of D-Panthenol and L-Panthenol. The human body readily absorbs DL-Panthenol through the skin and it rapidly converts D-Panthenol to Pantothenic Acid (Vitamin B5), a natural constituent of healthy hair and a substance present in all living cells. When it comes to moisturization properties- improved hydration, reducing water loss and maintaining skin elasticity and softness- this racemic mixture is 100% active. Studies have shown D-Panthenol promotes stimulation of epithelization, granulation, mitigation of itching and has an anti-inflammatory effect. When used in formulations over the course of three to four weeks, it has the potential to improve the appearance of the skin, including dryness, roughness, scaling, pruritus and erythema.
Flax Seed Extract - Flaxseed extract helps hair grow faster and longer by providing nourishment to the hair follicles. The presence of vitamin E in flaxseed provides nutrition to the scalp and reduces free radical damage. Topical application of flaxseed oil prevents flaking and nourishes the scalp from within, providing relief from dandruff.
Silk Amino Acid - Hydrolyzed from pure silk fibers, silk amino acids have a lower molecular weight than hydrolyzed silk protein powders as they undergo a greater degree of hydrolysis. Due to their smaller molecular weight they are more penetrating and moisturizing to skin and hair. Highly substantive to skin and hair, Silk Amino Acids are highly hygroscopic and have excellent moisture binding ability. Free amino acids are known to penetrate into the upper layers of the skin as well as through the hair cuticle into the hair shaft. This draws moisture into these areas, improving skin and hair hydration. For hair, this results in increased flexibility and manageability, leaving a soft, natural look.
Optiphen Plus - is a paraben and formaldehyde-free preservative system, which consists of Phenoxyethanol in an emollient base of Caprylyl Glycol. The combination of these ingredients provides optimized protection against microbial growth while imparting exceptional feel to the finished product.
